Gijsberdina Maria Klerks
Gijsberdina Klerks, called 'Diena' in the family, was born on 14 July 1907 in Drunen, the daughter of Leonardus Klerks and Francijna Ballier. She entered a religious community and went through life as a nun under the name Sister Laurina. (Note: Leo's own genealogy records, for the same date of birth, a death in 1909; a later child of the same name probably went through life as Sister Laurina. This is still being investigated — see the note below.)

Notes
The population register (sheet 91) shows that this Gijsberdina (born 14 July 1907) reached adulthood: on 29 March 1926 she left the family home and moved to Oudheusden, to the household of Bart van Schaik (probably as a maidservant). She later entered the convent as Sister Laurina. Leo's genealogy (S1), however, recorded a death on 6 April 1909 for a Gijsberdina born 14 July 1907; that early death probably concerns a young-deceased namesake in the same family (compare P0161).
