Arien Clerckx

Arien Clerckx was a son of Lambert Clerckx and Adriana Petersdochter; in the deeds 'Arien Lambertsse Clercx'. Little about him has survived. He is known mainly from the estate division of his childless uncle Jan (Johannes) Goossenss Clercx, in which, on 13 January 1707, he is already named as deceased. His widow, Marieke Ariensse, then received the second lot on his behalf: two and a half hont of land on de Schans at Elshout.
