Heinrich Cornelis Leonardus Peerson

Known in the family as 'Hans'. Son of Heinrich Peter Persoon (P0137) and Maria Hurkens; he grew up in Australia under the anglicised surname Peerson and was a design engineer. He married Inge Minna Auguste Danger in the state of Victoria in 1959; the marriage is registered in Victoria under number 15292/1959, in which he is recorded as 'Harry Heinrich L. Peerson' (according to an external family tree and confirmed by Inge's death certificate, at Geelong). Several children were born of the marriage, which later ended in divorce. He later lived in Sydney, where he died on 28 September 2003 at Lane Cove. Source for the Australian details: external genealogy (genealogieonline.nl/MyHeritage), still to be verified. On 25 July 1967 he became an Australian citizen together with his wife Inge; the Commonwealth Gazette of 15 February 1968 gives their address as 305 Princes Highway, Corio, near Geelong. His funeral was announced in the Sydney Morning Herald of 8 October 2003: the memorial service for 'Heinrich (Hans) Peerson' was held on 9 October 2003.
